The IAA International Motor Show opened its doors from the 13th to 23rd of September in Frankfurt, Germany, attracting almost one million visitors. Schuco was present for the first time, demonstrating their latest innovative highlights to a wide audience in hall 1.1. In addition to the new Autumn-Winter releases, which model car enthusiasts were able to admire exclusively in Frankfurt, a number of series production samples of previously unseen models were also presented such as the VW T2a in 1:18 scale. The IAA special models that were obtainable from various dealers also proved to be popular sellers. The red Audi R8 in 1:43 scale (limited edition of 500) sold out long before the end of the motor show. Only a few of the ‘87 model (Porsche 911 Carrera S / limited Edition 2007 pieces) were left as the motor show came to a close. Also on display at the constantly well-visited exhibition stand were the latest 1:43-scale models produced exclusively for the automobile industry on the occasion of the IAA. The VW Tiguan, Mercedes-Benz C-Class T-Model and Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG were just as fascinating as the countless new models on display in 1:1 scale at the major automobile manufacturers' stands in the remaining halls. The biennial motor show was once again a huge success and for many reasons well worth the visit for automobile aficionados – Schuco’s wonderful new innovations was one of them.

We are delighted to have the opportunity to show you photos of these wonderful models here.
