New releases I 2017
Dear Schuco fans, Dear Schuco collectors,
This year, the world's leading toy fair will once again be held in Nuremberg, with toy manufacturers and exhibitors from around the world showcasing their new product releases for 2017 to an international audience.
The unveiling of wonderfully crafted miniature models is a particular highlight in the calendar and looked forward to with great enthusiasm by toy fans and model enthusiasts alike.
Spread across nine model scales and thirteen product lines, no less than 160 new models will be showcased at this year's toy fair.
For instance, the Schuco Piccolo series, which has gained cult status among Schuco collectors, is being further enhanced in value thanks to the VW Scirocco I and the Kleinschnittger Convertible. One particular highlight in the Piccolo range will without doubt be the new VW T1 Bus featuring a Kleinschnittger design and loaded with two Kleinschnittger cars. The fantastic, new mini display with the AC Cobra and the Ferrari 250 LM, the VW Beetle 'Yellow and Black Racer' and the two newly designed Espresso collector's cups with the 'Schuco Radiant' and the 'Micro Racer' are sure to send Piccolo fans into a frenzy.
In the Schuco Classic tin toy range, the cutaway model of the Turning Car represents an important new addition to the previously available Schuco cutaway models. The Micro Racer series is back in the limelight thanks to the re-release of the popular Jaguar E-Type and the Micro-Jet assembly kit of the 'Super Sabre F100'.
In the large and popular 1:18 scale, the BMW Isetta Export represents a brand new model development and is sure to be in high demand from many BMW and small car collectors. Limited to just 500 pieces worldwide, the anniversary models to mark the 50th birthday of the Volkswagen T2, the VW Beetle 1600i 'Open Air' and the claret Unimog U401 with a Westfalia cabin are sure to become firm favourites with many collectors.
Further new releases on the same scale - including the Goggomobil, the exceptional Zündapp Janus and the tiny Brütsch Mopetta - will definitely set pulses racing, and not just among small car fans.
A spectacular array of new agricultural models on a scale of 1:32 can be found this year. Schuco presents four fully retooled metal models in this range: the John Deere Harvester 1270G 6W, the International 433, the Fortschritt ZT 323 and the John Deere 5125 R.
In the popular Schuco model series ProR32, collectors can additionally look forward to resin models such as a Hürlimann T-14000, a Famulus RS14/36 and the dozer tractor T100 M3 that are available for the first time on this scale as top quality, finely detailed models.
The Schuco editions 1:87 and 1:64 will once again include a number of exciting new releases in 2017. The VW T3 high-top camper and the Mercedes Benz -/8 police version are just two examples of new 1:64 scale models.
And this year's new additions to the 1:87 scale, the Porsche 924 S, the Porsche 944, the Porsche 911 S and the half-track Lanz Bulldog, will help to plug some major gaps in many collections. Collectors of modern sports cars from Stuttgart will also love the 1:87 scale Porsche 911R and the new Porsche 718 series boasting the 718 Cayman S and 718 Boxster S.
The Military 1:87 series, which was unveiled in 2016 and has proved very popular with collectors, will continue to grow significantly in the coming year with the launch of, among others, the Bell UH 1D helicopter, the MAN 10-ton truck, the Fennek and the Boxer. The two German Army tanks Leopard 1A1 and Leopard 2A6 and two wonderful versions of the Unimog S404 further enhance the Military series.
And last but definitely not least we have come up with a small but select range of new releases for fans of our Schuco Aviation plane models. It boasts modern-day aeroplanes as well as national and international airlines.
