Between 1957 and 1968, the original of the “Schuco Elektro Radiant” was produced which was adapted from one of the four-engined Vickers Viscounts – the first turbo-prop aeroplane in the world. It is now one of the old metal toys most in demand. This high-quality product, which we displayed at the Spielwarenmesse (international toy fair) 2005 in a one-off edition limited to 1000 pieces worldwide, is an exact, high-quality technical replica with all the functions of the original reproduced down to the last detail.
The development and production have taken longer than planned, and our priority is to ensure that the model functions perfectly, so in order to do justice to our high quality standards this highly anticipated model cannot be launched until January/February 2006. At this point, as a little foretaste of what is to come, we would like to present exclusive first pictures of a production sample and its packaging.
