Extremely successful replicas of the two most sought-after “old” tin toys, the Distler Porsche and the Schuco Elektro Radiant, have been launched in recent years.

Unique special variants of these classics are now going to be introduced to the market in autumn 2006.

The Distler Porsche Electromatic 7500 in classic black is already available at Porsche Design - Driver´s Selection (http://shop1.porsche.com/germany) under item number WAP 024 000 17. The model is fitted with a real ignition key to start it and synchronised toothed gearing work with reverse gear, neutral and two forward gears. Steering and gear changes are carried out using a two-part steering shaft.

Then in November, there will be an exclusive version of the Schuco Elektro Radiant 5600. This is modelled on the Vickers Viscount, which was built during the years 1957-1968. The model has authentic Lufthansa paint and is available from November in the Lufthansa Worldshop (www.worldshop.eu) under item number 1730251. The edition is limited to 1,000 pieces.
