300 SL Roadster was produced from 1957 to 1963 with
a total run of 1858 cars. Equipped with a 3-litre, in-line six-cylinder
engine and depending on the gearing, this breathtaking
convertible could achieve top speeds as high as 260 km/h (163 mph),
making
it one of the fastest and most fascinating cars of its
time. Mercedes-Benz offered a range of accessories for its well-heeled
customers, including a matching suitcase set, a container for
golf equipment and a ski rack.
