In the mid 1950’s, the German company NSU was the largest bike manufacturer in the world and exported its products to 90 countries. In 1957, 7,000 employees produced 350,000 motorized bikes. In 1953, the company from Neckarsulm presented the newly developed NSU Moped, the NSU Quickly, at the international bike and motorbike exhibition.

The NSU Quickly is seen as the first “real” moped in German’s post-war history. Under the advertising slogan “Stop walking, buy Quickly” it became an outstanding success and in 1954, the company already produced the 100,000th Quickly.

A revised version, the NSU Quickly N was presented two years later. It differed primarily from the previous version, by having a larger tank and a fitted protective leg shield. All in all, 980,000 units of this NSU success model came off the production lines.

The NSU Quickly N with a driver figure is a new highlight of the high-grade Motorbike Classics Edition produced with the greatest precision to a scale of 1:10 by Schuco.

The series fulfils the highest quality demands and is most inspiring due to its authentic high gloss finish.

Features, such as rotating wheels and a functioning suspension are firm components of this series and makes these so popular amongst bike collectors.

In combination with the driver figure, made from the high-grade modelling material resin, the set is limited to precisely 1,000 pieces and thus represents an optical highlight in every model collection. Both the Quickly models as well as the figure have a multitude of lovingly created details, which are to a considerable extent elaborately applied by hand.
