Because Russian President Vladimir Putin wasn’t very enthusiastic about either the technology or design of his former ZIL state saloon, Mercedes-Benz vehicles were used in his fleet for years. In order to be able to go back to a Russian make again in the future, the Moscow-based engine development institute NAMI designed a new representative saloon, the Aurus Senat, on behalf of the government and using state subsidies. With the support of Porsche Engineering, a state-of-the-art V8 hybrid drive system was created, from which a 2-litre, four-cylinder hybrid was derived, which will be used by Lada in the future. Presented to the public for the first time at Vladimir Putin’s inauguration in May 2018, the Aurus Senat is available in a S600 version with a length of 5.63 metres and a wheelbase of 3.30 metres, as well as in the 700S stretch version with a length of 6.63 metres and a wheelbase of 4.30 metres.   Warning! Porsche 356 Gmünd Coupé, silver, 1:18

After the first Porsche sports car, the so-called Porsche No. 1, was individually licensed for road traffic as early as the 8th of June 1948, in March 1949, Porsche presented its first production sports car at the Geneva Salon de l‘Auto, the legendary Porsche 356. Using classical tuning techniques, such as modified cylinder heads and twin carburettors, on the 4-cylinder boxer engine taken over from the VW Beetle, the engine power of the first Porsche 356 could be increased to a respectable 40 hp. Between 1949 and 1950, a total of 44 coupé and 8 convertible versions of the so-called „Gmünd Porsche 356“ were entirely hand-built. In 1950, Porsche moved back to its main factory in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen in which, by the end of production of the type 365 in April 1965, slightly over 76,000 of this sports car icon were produced. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary Porsche 356 Gmünd Coupé to a scale of 1:18 in the PRO R line. This line, consisting of resin as the material, stands for exceptional and highly filigree small series models. By means of this highgrade model material, it is possible to produce very rare and exotic exemplary vehicles in perfect quality and also in low and exclusive production runs.   Warning! Porsche 934 RSR Monaco blue 1:18

€99.00

In the mid-seventies, in order to be able to offer a Porsche racing car capable of winning according to the FIA regulations of Group 4 and the associated competitions of the German Motor Racing Championship, the American IMSA GT series and the World Sportscar Championship, the Porsche 934 was developed. At the same time, the Zuffenhausen company also developed the Porsche 935 for Group 5 and the Porsche 936 for Group 6 of the World Sportscar Championship. While the 935 and 936 were originally only intended for use by the Porsche works team, the Porsche 934 was also to be offered to private racing stables. Because of the Group 4 regulations, only very limited changes to the bodywork relative to a production car were allowed. Thus, the riveted wing extensions and the front skirt extended close to the ground and with large air inlets are the most visible characteristics distinguishing the car from the Porsche 930 Turbo on which it is based. The painstakingly hand-produced Schuco model of the Porsche 934 has numerous functions and, with its many racing details, is an invitation to a real voyage of discovery through the racing technology of the 1970s.

To meet the ever-increasing thirst for mobility in the economic miracle of 1950s Germany, in 1955, the Bayerischen Motorenwerke presented the two-seater „MotoCoupé“ BMW Isetta. Known as a „bubble car“ because of its egg shape and bubble-like windows, the much-loved micro-car from Munich was powered by a 12 hp motor cycle engine. During the period of production, from 1955 to 1962, a total of 161,360 Isettas were produced.   Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.

“In the beginning, I looked around but couldn’t see the car I’d been dreaming of. So I decided to build it myself.” With this famous remark by Ferry Porsche, one of the most impressive success stories in automotive history began. Starting with the Porsche No.1 from 1948 up to its highest stage of development, the Porsche 356 SC, more than 76,000 units of this first Porsche series sports car were produced from 1948 onwards, until it ceased production in 1965. The Triumph TR5 was the successor model to the TR4A, and appeared in the summer of 1967. This roadster, which was designed by Michelotti, only differed from its predecessors externally by additional chrome trim on the sides and several other small details. However, beneath the long bonnet of the TR5 there was now a long-stroke inline 6-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2.5 litres and output of 143 BHP. From July 1967 to September 1968, just 2,947 examples of this classic old-school British roadster were manufactured. The vehicle is now rare with the optional and particularly visually appealing “Surrey Top”.

Like the BMW M8 Coupé, the BMW 850i Convertible is clearly one of those BMW studies that unfortunately never found its way onto public roads. Developed as a competitor model for the new Mercedes-Benz SL series R129, which was also presented at the International Motor Show in 1989, this beautiful and unique BMW convertible unfortunately did not make it to series production. Thus, only 3 prototypes of the so-called BMW 850Ci based on the E31 series were built and subjected to extensive test drives before the decision was made in Munich to discontinue the 850Ci Cabriolet project for fear of economic failure.   Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.

Founded in 1883 in Pilsting as an agricultural machinery factory, Hans Glas GmbH of Dingolfing entered the lucrative two-wheel business at the start of the 1950s with the production of its Goggo scooter. A small car known as the Goggomobil was then launched in 1955 with great success, offering space for two adults and two children and costing 3,000 DM. In the years that followed, Glas evolved more and more into a serious manufacturer of cars. This led to the launch of the Glas 2600 V8 at the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) in 1965. A very elegant coupé with coachwork designed by Frua and a V8 engine developed by the Glas company itself. This beautiful sports coupé, also nicknamed the „Glaserati“, unfortunately did not prove to be a commercial success and consequently Glas was sold to BMW AG in 1966. There, production of the coupé continued for a while as the BMW Glas 3000 V8 after some minor revisions were made to the design and features.
