The Schuco Grand Prix Racer. This tin model, which is as interesting today as it was decades ago for fans of tin toys and technology, comes with a pinion steering control, removable wheels and tyres, a fully functional handbrake and an extremely robust winding mechanism. As part of a tin model collection, the Grand Prix Racer is the ideal accompaniment to the Schuco Studio Mercedes and other Schuco Studio models. Finished in Ferrari Red with white racing stripes and the start number „8“, this unique model is limited to just 500 copies worldwide.

Endlich ein Ferrari... Verified purchase
Sehr schnelle Lieferung, gut verpackt und angesichts der doch kleinen Auflage angemessener Preis. Das Modell selbst ist sehr sauber verarbeitet, keine Grate oder scharfe Kanten. Ein kleiner Kratzer in der Lackierung wurde bei der Endkontrolle ausgebessert und ist nur, wenn man mit der Lupe sucht, sichtbar. Für mich kein Mangel sondern ein Zeichen dafür, daß hier noch Menschen am Produkt arbeiten.
Schön wäre es, wenn die wenigen Kunststoffteile wie Kühler Tankdeckel, Sitz und Auspuff ebenfalls in Blech gefertigt würden, allerdings ist das "Jammern auf höchstem Niveau".
Ich für meinen Fall freue mich auf die nächsten Modelle, geplant ist der Schuco Studio VII und der Examico 4001.
