"It wasn’t just the predecessor of the famous Porsche 911, it was also the first sports car built in series by Porsche: the Porsche 356. During its entire production period, from 1948 to 1965, more than 76,000 of the 356’s various development stages were produced. Our Porsche 356 from the Edition 1:64 corresponds to a 1962 Porsche Carrera 2 and in our model is shown on its way to a skiing holiday"

"At the end of the 70s a start had already been made in the Fortschritt Landmaschinen collective combine on plans for the successor to the very successful ZT 300 series. Because of the outst5anding basis represented by the ZT 303 and ZT 323 models, the 320 series was not to be a purely new development but rather an extensive and well thought-out upgrade of the existing models. Given that, when presented, the basic model of the new series, the ZT 320, was already technically out-of-date because it lacked all-wheel drive, the publicly owned company Traktorenwerk Schönebeck very quickly concentrated on production of the ZT 323. As a part of the upgrade, this was, in terms of fuel consumption, significantly more efficient than the ZT 303 and thus able to build on the sales success of the latter. Schuco presents the Fortschritt ZT 323 tractor as a high-quality metal miniature in the popular 1:32 scale."

"With almost 65,000 units produced, the Unimog 404 is Unimog’s most successful model. Over 36,500 vehicles were purchased by the Bundeswehr (German armed forces), where it was mainly used as an all-terrain 1.5 tonne truck with a wide range of bodies and retrofit kits. One of the most outstanding features of the Unimog S was its off-road capability. The Unimog 404 also had an impressive 800 mm fording capability. Daimler-Benz commenced production of the Unimog S in January 1956. Most of the models sold to the Bundeswehr were the basic version with a 3000 x 2000 mm flatbed and an open-top cab with an all-weather folding top. However, there were also many vehicles with box bodies."

"Porsche started to develop its first racing car in 1952 at its headquarters in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. This culminated in the launch of the Porsche 550 Spyder, which was based on the specs of the Porsche 356. This mid-engined car was equipped with a lightweight metal chassis and sported a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder boxer engine known as the ‘Fuhrmann’ engine. Weighing just 550 kg, the Porsche 550 Spyder helped the fledgling brand to develop its reputation as a manufacturer of lightweight, reliable and efficient sports cars. At the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1955, the 550 Spyder was driven by the racing duo Polenski/von Frankenberg, who came fourth overall and first in the 1500 ccm vehicle class. Due to very high demand from racing drivers and well-heeled Porsche enthusiasts from the US, the 550 Spyder soon received approval for road use and could be ordered for 24,600 German marks at Porsche dealers." Attention ! A comprehensive Volkswagen dealer and service network also ensured high levels of customer satisfaction and widespread use of the VW Transporter by small, medium-sized and larger companies. "In the early days of motor sport, racing cars were still transported under their own steam to races in Le Mans and Monza or to the Targa Florio or the Mille Miglia. However, the increasing professionalism of motor sport in the 1950s and the growing amount of equipment which was needed led the racing teams of the day to start using transport vehicles. In the mid-60s, Porsche came up with the idea for two transport vehicles that were specially designed to meet the requirements of motor sport and able to transport the additionally required engines, gearboxes and chassis parts. The technical basis for the new Porsche racing transporter was the Mercedes-Benz O317 underfloor-engine bus, produced between 1957 and 1972. Its self-supporting design meant it was ideal for the complex conversion by the Stuttgart-based company Robert Schenk."

Deere & Company was founded in Illinois in 1837 by the blacksmith John Deere. Today, John Deere is the world’s leading manufacturer of agricultural vehicles. The first tractor models were built by Deere & Company shortly after the end of the First World War. During the Great Depression from 1931 to 1933, the company allowed farmers who could not afford to make repayments to keep their purchases. With hindsight, this generosity helped the company to acquire many new customers and ensure a high level of customer loyalty. The John Deere 7810, which was the inspiration for our Schuco model, is a heavy-duty tractor with a maximum permissible weight of 11 tonnes. It was produced from 1997 to 2003. Conceived by John Deere engineers for the heaviest off-road terrain, the 7810 is very popular and is still widely used more than 15 years after the vehicle was discontinued. Attention ! "With more than 1.5 million units built, the NSU Quickly, like the VW Beetle, was one of the driving forces behind the development of mass motorization during the German economic miracle of the 1950s. Presented for the first time at the International Bicycle and Motorcycle Exhibition (IFMA) in 1953, by the end of 1954 more than 100,000 Quickly‘s had already been delivered to their enthusiastic customers, who with their mopeds and a comparatively low power output of 1.4 hp and a consumption of less than 2 liters were nevertheless quite nippy and yet extremely economical on the road. With cheeky advertising slogans like „Don‘t run anymore, buy a Quickly!“ or „Good things come to those who have a Quickly!“ the NSU advertising department had additionally ensured a lot of sympathy for the little two-wheeler. Today, the Quickly has long since become a cult object for many, younger motorcycle and moped enthusiasts. A real customizing scene has developed around this cult moped. Taking this development into account, Schuco now presents the NSU Quickly Custom I in 1/10th scale. Produced in a unique limited edition of 1000 pieces, the NSU Quickly Custom I will provide a fresh and youthful wind in the model showcases."

"In the 1920s and 1930s, Heinrich Lanz AG was Germany's leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery and had already entered the production of farm tractors in the 1920s. At that time, agricultural tractors with single-cylinder glow-head engines were produced with great success under the name Lanz Bulldog. The name ""Bulldog"", which quickly became synonymous with the tractor in Germany, came from the fact that the shape of the Lanz glow head corresponded to the head shape of an English bulldog. Together with a contemporary VW T1 Lanz service vehicle and the three scale Lanz mechanics, this set brings life to any tractor collection."
